Businesses are greatly hit by Covid19 pandemic. There are several factors that changed the game of businesses which apparently paralyzed the flow of the economy; may it be Micro or Small business entrepreneurship or Large scales.

These are: 1. Transportation 2. Location or Workplace 3. Manpower 4. Cash flow 5. Investors and Market trends.

Business downtime is really bothersome, isn’t it?

We can’t mobilize the business if the transportation is limited or if we have no access at all, as most of the travels are shut down indefinitely today. This will lead to a chill in the business. We can’t go places where you mostly operate the business as these places are closed too. If the business places are closed definitely manpower is out of the picture. The most tangible effect of this crisis is losing your market as literally, there is no market as people are so vulnerable to get infected and so people are highly advised not to go outside. Even the shopping centers are closed during those times.

When there are no consumers there will be no demands, no manpower there will be no production nor sales and definitely no cash flows, no revenue and another thing that is definite is that there is no ROI. These are the “domino effects” of the crisis and again the uncertainties are still in our minds and doubts are eating us up if we can still survive the business we own today; or how we can start to move on with high hopes that we could still survive.

So … What's the Plan?

Filipinos are known for our resilience and ingenuity. It is our very nature to stand strong and be still amidst disasters, tragedies, crises, and now pandemic. We find our own ways in making things work, we can be innovative even in times of pressure and distress, it is indeed automatic like an adrenaline rush to us Filipinos to step up from being stumbled.

Gradually, our economy takes a baby step to moving onwards. As we observe, the mainstream media plays a vital role in building the economy, how? Simple and precise. Everything goes Digital nowadays. Everything can be ordered now on the internet, from the smallest consumer item to the huge ones…, not only bags, shoes, or bed sheets but even toothbrush kits, hair puller, toothpick, screws, nail cutters can now be ordered online! Plus, there is no need for you to go to the supermarket to buy your groceries because every single ingredient for your chosen recipe is there, “name it, you have it!” anything you see on the selling platform can now be delivered right in front of your doorstep! Amazing! isn't it?

eCommerce is real!

Who says that only Food, consumables, and Essentials are the business industries who survive nowadays? Did you know that you can take your business to a higher level too just like these successful businesses and business owners do? Yes, you can!

Go digital! Go mainstream! Go max.

How Do Businesses Survive in the Digital times?

Almost 80% of Filipinos are using the internet, almost everyone nowadays is online and busy doing different activities on the internet whether online shopping, video streaming, reading blogs, watching vlogs, creating posts, sharing contents in Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the likes.

We can probably start with these few teasers:

  • Know your market and where they hang out. Join the circle in the Social Media platforms that you are in. Find what most people do and

  • Get in touch - Make use of the best Communication Tools to tap customers. Small talks and huddles asking how they are during the pandemic crisis would somehow give reassurance to them that you are not just some money maker calling them.

  • Ask them what matters the most to them now and start to analyze their future business needs.

  • Send virtual hugs - In this time of uncertainties, nothing can ever be sweeter than sending genuine expressions of concerns like care and thoughtfulness sent over the phone or the internet, they are just like virtual hugs.

  • Launch your products or services to Social Media like: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and etc.

  • Build up media presence by posting your merchandise, posting some sale or bargain activities that would entice potential buyers and eventually would turn them to buyers from mere viewers only.

  • Go and get the most out of the internet and digital platforms. Get techniques from Ecommerce businesses from Social media.

  • If all else fails… Hire an assistant. A virtual assistant who can be your partner in boosting your business to success. Your partner will take care of the marketing on your social media platform by optimizing your page regularly to attract buyers / consumers may it be on the email or social media accounts.

  • Reading comments and replying real time is a challenging task. That’s why you need someone to be your social media manager.

  • There are a lot of virtual services you can have to work with, but then again, worry no more about the workplace and transportation, as I said, your business boosting partner is “virtual” you don’t see them physically but they are there accessible on a given time and schedule one click away ready and available for you. You can coordinate, collaborate, organize, plan or meet with them anytime to ensure business success.

  • Consider trained Freelance Virtual Assistants who are open to work Part time or Full time. Visit websites of Freelancers or Virtual Assistance hub and get the job done for you so you can focus more on the most important concern or pivotal area in your career or endeavor.
